geico motorcycle. are getting back to school,parents' fears about the sometimes deadly allergic reaction to peanuts are leading to some changes in school lunch programs. kron four's rob fladeboe reports, fremont is among the latest school districts to take peanuts off the menu. >> reporter: when school starts later this month here at fremont's irvington high and other schools, a long- time staple of the kitchen and cafeteria will be missing. food service director elsie szeto says anything containing peanuts or peanut products will be gone. >> we have to make sure that the students are safe. and we know that the food allergy products are in our foods. and make sure that the students to not eat them. >> reporter: fremont and many other school districts have banned peanuts because of the potentially deadly allergic reaction some kids have to them. last month a sacramento area teen died after eating a dessert containing peanuts. szeto says the district is making sure none of it's supplies contain any kind
