i am a field rep for general hospital. i didn't prepare anything to read, but i can -- i wanted to speak for a minute about my own experiences with being a field rep within the city and county of san francisco. some of the things that i have witnessed myself and just some points, first of all, obviously, we live in a white supremacist country, and the city is not -- it is no exception. the second thing that i am seeing is that at the hospital, there is a ton of authoritarian managers that disciplined people just for the sake of dispute -- disciplining people. and people that you are seeing here, those are the people that we represent that are being disciplined disproportionately. the third thing that is contributing to all of this is you have an h.r. department that seems like its main goal is simply to support managers, no matter what. ninety-nine% of my grievances are denied. does that mean that 99% of the issues that we are bringing up our false? and not true? you should probably take a look at your h.r. department and
