cnbc's geoff cutmore joins us. >> it will be an interesting week. we have an interesting difference in the market as to when the fed is actually going to start rate tightening. the national association of business economists have come out and about 1/3 of those in that survey of just under 50 said they thought we could get an interest rate height from the fed as early as this year. i have to say that sits somewhat at odds with what the wall street analyst community are saying. they're not looking for any change until 2015 and the latter half of 2015. so a by the of a schism in this view of what the fed's going to do. of course, that is always important for how the markets behave. so we'll be watching just to see how this settles down in trade this week. one other story that i think is fascinating here, apple is in talks with comcast, parents of cnbc, of course, and the nbc group, and they are talking about ways they can use the apple set top box to stream faster tv product. ultimately this is about getting around the congestion on the web and maybe

our very own geoff cutmore is back. what do you think they might change today on their tune, or will they? >> yeah, well, it's interesting, isn't it? we've had this very steady recovery in eurozone economic data. and at least some who have been concerned that the central bank in frankfurt hasn't been more accommodative can at least point to that and say, well, we are seeing some pick up in growth activity. there's still plenty in the market who feel the ecb should be doing more, whether that is some kind of directed asset purchase program or some negative deposit rate to ease monetary conditions even further and send the message to the eurozone consumers that interest rates will continue to be incredibly accommodative. now, that policy doesn't always sit well with the germans, not the bundes bank and not the government, who in the form of schubel a couple of days ago said interest rates are too low for the german economy. what we're looking for here, ross, in about 40 minutes time when we get the release in these annual
