news 6 spoke with george branard's father about the verdict. >> not guilty. those are the words george branard's family has waited almost two years to hear. his father saying these accusations have torn his family apart and they're ready to move forward from these false accusations. >> it's been tough on the whole family and all the kids. >> george branard, sr., saying he raised all four of his kids to always do the right thing. he says today's not guilty making. >> it was a fair judgment. all we were looking for in this whole thing was justice for my son. >> his son, george branard, bars. after riding on his pedi-cab from the daytona international speedway back in february of 2014. since his arrest, branard has claimed the sex was consensual. on the stand telling the jury the alleged victim was the aggressor. >> he was innocent. he never did anything. it was all consensual. he suffered through the justice system, which is just, and showed the way it should be. >> the family is trying to move toward forgiveness to the woman they say falsely accused branard. >
