georges county. we heard the state's attorney office say no jail time was part of this plea deal with kwame brown. they said it was too early if they will ask for jail time. in your experience on both sides, is he looking at doing time? >> you know, it's hard to say, but when you see the way they crafted or drafted the plea agreement, it puts him in the lowest sentencing range under the federal sentencing guidelines. in most instances, if a judge believes a person is contrite, remorseful, and done to quote the government in some instances, the right thing and that means cooperating with the government and telling the truth. come sentencing day, with all the good things that people are saying about this gentleman, i think he stands a good chance of getting a probationary sentence. the government doesn't usually come in and recommend probation. sometimes they will say we don't oppose a request for information. but in this case, it looks like all the bells and whistles are in place. >> veteran criminal attorney, thanks for coming in. >> well, many people are asking, will the punishment fit the crime?
