i lost my youngest son george c. scott to gun violence in 1996, right around the corner from my home and i lost my nephew, 2007, timothy scott. 17th and mission street to gun violence. ing and i lost my niece keisha walker to cyber-bullying, who jumped off the golden gate bridge in 2012 and now it hurts my heart today to stand before you and to know that this young man lost his life senselessly, rashon williams. and also wonderful parks and recreation director who lost his life in front of his 10-year-old son in the sunnydale hearst playground in front of 30 other children who were playing by gun violence. i am the executive director of healing for our families in our nation. i'm the san francisco chapter brady campaign president and chapter president for mothers in charge of nationwide group of mothers, and women, who have lost children and grandchildren to senseless gun violence around the country. i have a deep respect for our city. i have a deep respect for the board members here, many of you i have worked with in the
