i don't think that the movement would have happened after george floyd if all of the leg work hadn't been done by the black lives matter activists and the other situations, but i was surprised, i think. what happened with floyd was unique in a few ways and obviously there was a global pandemic, and people were stuck in fronts of their television stations. there were not concerts or distractions for people to take their minds off of what happened and this was not one of those debatable uses of source that happened in a split second where you get three second-ton of video and five people think it's the right use of force and always thought-- what was saw more than nine minutes of someone breging for their lives. he was not moving and still pressed by the knee of the officer and crying out for his mother, crying out for mercy as he was being forced with the threat. and there's something how his death played out on video and so many different backgrounds connected with the moment and they could hear his cries, hear his beg for mercy and connect with him object on human level even if they
