this was along georgetown pike. what happened, about midnight, police tried to pull over a videocassette the vehicle there. as they pulled that car over, the passenger got out and started running. as the police officer in the cruiser started following, the vehicle kept going, but then turned around and headed towards that police cruiser. shots were fired. one struck the rear quarter panel of that car on the passenger side. and you can see another, there's an indentation on the hood where a bullet ricocheted off the hood. fortunately, the officer wasn't injured. we don't know about any injuries to the people that were involved. neither has been arrested. now, police are vehicle. it's a late '90s or early 2000 four-door sedan. it's white, either a toyota or mazda. it's got some black molding around the doors, and it would have a broken passenger window. they believe some spots were fired from that car, through the window. again, no one was injured and we hope to have some more information from fairfax county police la
