but i want to stick with georgia, two years ago, georgia was a hot bed for election conspiracy theorieswhat is the climate like right now compared to 2020 and what are your concerns looking ahead? >> the climate is calmer now in -- remember, pre-2020, november, it was relatively calm in georgia. it was after the election we had most of the issues. the misinformation is heightened now because it's a continuation from 2020. but we aren't seeing the problems we're seeing in arizona or nevada, thankfully. my biggest concern is this is going to be a first time in 20 years having a picker-based ballot system on election day when we don't have covid going on. we're expecting double the amount of turnout and making sure the polls are prepared. >> and on that note, how long do you think it's going to take for us to get a sense of how things are shaking out in georgia. i remember, of course, in 2020 election, what that was like. what should we all brace for this time around, do you think? >> here's the irony, we count our votes faster than most states but the problem is, when your margin is 11,00

georgia is home to several historically black colleges. tremaine traveled to georgia.ok at georgia. seeing it is so integral to the midterm election. what did you hear from folks there, from students there? >> reporter: i tell you what, i'm on the campus of clark atlanta university. it's homecoming weekend. everyone is excited. one thing they do better than they throw homecoming, they organize voters. they created this robust voter registration and turnout machine that has pushed black youth turnout to record levels. with that success has come pushback. it comes in the form of law. >> how are you doing? are you registered to vote? >> reporter: this senior is doing one of the things she does best. >> you live on campus? your polling location is moore house. >> reporter: harnessing the power of young black voters, just like herself. she's the co-chair of cau votes, a non-partisan voter mobilization group that encourages students to engage in civic life. >> have you thought about voting? >> reporter: they helped get young black voters to the polls during the 2020 election
