we have breaking news from the germantown section of philadelphia.of deadly gunfire tonight. it happened at 840 on the 100 block of east pastoral street. four people were shot including an 11-year-old girl. a 16 sthot in the back and pronounced dead at einstein medical center. police say shots were firing in all directions. >> we have multiple shell casings on one side of the block and on the other side of the block. it appears it was a shootout between two people or two groups of people. >> this is the live picture now. the 11-year-old girl has a grazed wound to her left arm. an 18-year-old male was shot in the right side of the torso. he's evaluated at einstein. a 19-year-old took bullets to the leg and stomach. police are saying nothing yet about the circumstances around the shooting but the investigation is under progress. >> 2 26 hopkins street in new jersey the scene of a murder mystery. this is where a woman who was house sitting, 26-year-old shawneeq carter of camden was found dead. christie ileto is back from woodbury and has the story. >> h

that's at the corner of germantown and cumberland street in north philly. police say a 30-year-old suspect began wildly shooting at people outside who were just walking down the street. a man and the woman were hit in the legs. police say they may have actually been heading into that bar. the security guard who was on duty at the time saw what was happening and immediately confronted that suspect. >> but the guard was on duty at the time standing by the front door when he observed only feet away from him this male approach from cumberland street and begin open fire on pedestrians that were walking down the street. >> reporter: police say that security guard shot the suspect multiple times in the stomach. the suspect dropped his gun, ran away and was taken by a private car to temple hospital where he later died. those two victims both had injuries to their legs. they're expected to survive. police still working to try to figure out why exactly this guy started opening fire outside a busy bar. for now live in center city, randy gyllenhaal, nbc 10 news. >> tha
