joining us, max ferris and gerri willis. what do you make of that, gerri? >> listen, i think it's fabulous. we had a great day today. it was a half day of trading. don't get too excited. what i want to say to people for the second half, there's more than four stocks to buy out there. everybody thinks about the fang stocks. terrific the nasdaq was up 14% in the first half. but you can shop around and buy stocks that aren't the four stocks. that could be a possibility. >> the major averages have been appreciable year to do. the dow almost 9%. we've had the nasdaq up north 14%. is that sustainable in the second half? does it depend on what's going on in washington or not? >> i don't think the market needs anything positive. it may be a benefit at this point. it's been discounted. the trump rally just turned into a rally in the last few months. it's mostly tech stocks. >> how much does he have to do with it, you think? >> the stocks are up strong today. those would be the ones to benefit most from the tax cuts. it's the technology, the apple, the google. those
