we do have harold going to impact southern texas and we have franklin and gert and a couple of disturbances off the coast of africa. bottom line is we are watching harold, the imminent threat versus south texas. brownsville, corpus christi, starting to see the outer bands. this is a 45-mile-per-hour sustained wind storm and i do not think it's going to meant much stronger than that. the good news is it's beneficial rain for texas. it's not going to cause a whole lot of issues. the benefits are better than the risks with that storm. let's put it that way. the tropical force winds up from the center of circulation and we are going to see landfall the next couple of hours for south texas moving into mexico. this is actually a pretty good news story when it comes to the tropics. they need the rain fall and it's going to bring those temperatures down. we like that. we like that about this tropical system. we don't want the flooding to happen but i think all in all it's a good news situation. this is franklin so we'll watch the storm moved westward to the caribbean sea. we'll keep an eye on on th
