here's gianna. >> it's been incredibly quiet this morning but that's good.t's nice on the freeways right now. only slow spots are pretty typical antioch westbound highway 4, 17 miles per hour as you work your way between hillcrest and loveridge. once you get it pittsburg no major snags in the area. all the way towards the eastshore freeway though highway 4 looking good past there. now, we do have some roadwork on the flip side under way. that will be there until 2:00 this afternoon, eastbound 4 between bailey road and railroad. now, you might see some slight delays again into the afternoon. various lanes blocked will be closed but you will be able to get by and hopefully it will stay "holiday light" through there. the benicia bridge, we just lost our camera. we'll check that in a minute. i did get word of ski equipment on the span there so be careful there. it could be blocking lanes. that's a rough start for the holiday. altamont pass to 680, 580 no delays. it's actually looking better. maybe some slight delays here through livermore but overall 15 minutes

gianna? >> we like it cold and dry. let's head to the bart map, mass transit. couple of things to let you know about. because of the activities on market and embarcadero due to "occupy sf" there may be possible closures for bart and muni. bart, there are no delays as of yet but again that could change depending how everything plays out. muni seems to be running okay at this time. we'll keep you updated. there is a fatal accident to report. livermore eastbound 580 at north first a pickup truck rolled several times this morning. it is over to the right shoulder but lots of activity there on scene. there are no lanes blocked but that investigation may take some time this morning. not affecting the westbound side of your drive along 580. pinole valley road a wreck blocking the third lane from the left delays there. towards the bay bridge via 80 no troubles, clear at the bay bridge toll plaza, no metering lights, no delays, not bad across the upper deck into san francisco. live shot of traffic in san jose. 101 at mckee so far traffic looking good through there. 880

first gianna has the traffic report. >> good morning. we are going to start along 101 as we monitor this traffic alert in palo alto. we have a live camera standing by at the area. this is southbound 101 near embarcadero. a couple of cars involved in the accident. chp has shut down the two middle lanes as a result. now, because it's still very light during this hour in the morning as far as traffic goes it's not a lot of cars struggling to squeeze by this incident but again, depending how long it stays out there, traffic may get a bit worse as the day progresses. of course, we'll continue to keep you updated and let's check the bridges this morning. bay bridge off to a good start. no major snags out of the carquinez bridge towards the maze. we'll check 101 in the south bay coming up. right now, back to you. >>> one-stop shopping for bling, power tools and gadgets. coming up next, the unusual place gift givers are going to get their presents. >>> and a plea for compassion after someone stole a south bay woman's wheels. who does that? the c

[ laughter ] >>> san mateo bridge wreck not affecting the bridge, no problems. on the maps, yes, we have a brand-new accident south 880 at 92. it's off to the right shoulder but there are injuries reported. so that may block the right lane and you can see yellow on our sensors so traffic is dipping below 40 on the southbound side of 880. northbound 880 though that's looking very good this morning. very light as you head into oakland. no delays towards the maze. but, of course, once you hit the bay bridge toll plaza, traffic is stacked up very slow and go through there. in fact, the metering lights are on but the golden gate bridge there's my early gift to you. >> very nice. >> almost like musical chairs in here. elizabeth doing weather, dennis usually does sports is doing news. i can't keep up. >> we like to mix it up. >> i feel so untalented.
