all right, gianna, how are the roads looking this morning? >> actually really good.t's "friday light" so i have a lot of good news now as you hit the roads. you have no delays on the freeways except for the bay bridge and we'll look at that in just a minute. what you really want to gear up for is this weekend. we have a big weekend in san francisco. a lot of events planned around the bay area, as well. so mass transit is going to be your best friend. bart will be running longer trains through commute hours and after commute hours to accommodate extra riders. now you have 44 trains on time. the rest of mass transit looks great as well no delays for ace, caltrain or muni. and just to keep in mind golden gate ferries will be running larkspur service so if you are coming to the alicia keys service use that as an option. there's extra service to at&t. extra ferry service for metallica also here in san francisco on saturday night. so mass transit, definitely going to be your best friend. southbound embarcadero closed near the ferry building. northbound though is open. so y

gianna? >> thanks, roberta. let's jump to the roads right now.e have this accident southbound 680 at treat boulevard. it is blocking at least the left lane. they are trying to move it over to the center divide but you can see on our sensors here the damage is done. 15 miles per hour in some spots as you work your way southbound 680 out of walnut creek this morning. make matters worse if you are connecting to westbound 24 at 680 we have wood debris blocking the three left lanes and according to mobile 2 they just cruised through there and said traffic is bad through there. elsewhere if you are headed through san francisco, northbound 280 right after cesar chavez they are clearing that accident out of lanes but we are starting to see more volume on that northbound side as you head towards 280 extension into san francisco. 101 though looking good in both directions. bay bridge the metering lights remain on but it is fairly quiet off the eastshore freeway. commute carquinez bridge to the maze, that's an easy 21 minutes right now. same for oakland. he

here's roberta. >>> thank you, gianna. we are starting off mild this morning.tures in the 40s and 50s. pretty much areawide. 46 concord. 50 oakland. 50 san francisco. 49 san jose where we broke a record yesterday. now we have this ridge that's been out over the pacific starting to weaken. as it does, our temperatures will decrease slightly heading into the weekend. still above average for this time of the year. but cooler than what we saw, say, yesterday. now, futurecast shows the storm track will be slowly moving back in. but unfortunately, pointing to our north. so we're still going to stay mainly dry even though we have this upper level trough moving into the pacific northwest. it's going to bring showers to them but look at that rain line. it stays north of us, maybe the northern portions of sonoma county seeing showers most of us though staying completely dry for the foreseeable future. here's what to expect, mostly clear, patchy fog, mild afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. slow cooling into the weekend still above average. but cooler than what we saw
