here's gianna. >> thanks. it's been a struggle this morning. we have a traffic alert along eastbound 80 as you work your way towards the carquinez bridge. this is two separate accidents that happened and one is a big rig and three other vehicles. it's a fatality. so a lot of activity there on scene. ail lanes completely shut down. this is the second time they have shut down all lanes overnight on 80 because of an accident. two accidents clearing in the area. past that, over the bridge itself there is roadwork reported. in fact my colleague ted at kcbs says some of the worst traffic he has seen along east 80 near the carquinez bridge in a long time. so expect some big delays as you work your way through there. westbound okay. in the meantime if you want to use an alternate use 4 to cut over to the benicia bridge. they are diverting traffic off at cummings skyway letting you back on the eastshore freeway. so keep that in mind. you have a couple of options through there. elsewhere westbound 580 at eden canyon reports of a vehicle fire over to the

gianna, what problems up now? >> we have a problem in san bruno.nately, it is a traffic alert. east el camino real on to 80 the on-ramp is shut down eastbound to 380. big, big on its side trailer and vehicle itself, big rig on its side, trailer and vehicle itself. noninjury so that's good news. but it's going to take a big tow truck to get this off the freeway and in the meantime you have a couple of options here. if you need to get on 380 eastbound is open. just the on-ramp from el camino real is shut down. you can use 380. use san bruno avenue though over to 280 north to get on 380 itself. or use surface streets if you are trying to get to 101. eastbound 380 is open. the on-ramp is shut down for the accident. south 880 past thornton, some good news here. that accident is now cleared over to the right shoulder. but you have a backup behind there. slow-and-go conditions if you are headed towards the dumbarton bridge this morning. 30 minutes to go from 238 to the 84 on the southbound side of the nimit freeway. delays on the san mateo bridge, as well

gianna? >>> a traffic alert along highway 1 through devil's slide, it was shut down completely for a fatal accident. it will be closed at least until 6:00. highway 1 just south of the devil's slide between pacifica and montera state beach. it's a long way around and your only option as an alternate is to use 92 to 280 commuting out of half moon bay. so highway 1 is completely shut down and along 280 if you are planning on using that going northbound, we have a trouble spot at edgewood, a big rig fire, at one point, it was engulfed in flames, but it looks like everything is out. northbound 280 at edgewood. and as far as drive times, northbound 280, 92 to 101, 19 minutes for your ride and continued delays this morning. and westbound 24, this just in, a couple of cars tangled up over to the right shoulder. westbound 24 is good commuting into oakland. and if you are headed towards the bay bridge, a couple of stack ups, but still moving nicely into san francisco. no metering lights just yet and 19

let's get the latest from gianna. >> it tanks along 880. we are going upwards of two hours now on this accident. northbound 880 at alvarado niles actually affecting the 880 freeway in both directions. you can see on our live shot here from chopper 5 northbound 880 alvarado niles is where the big rig is. it's in the left lane. two lanes shut down northbound side. southbound a separate accident. two lanes closed. big delays in both directions as a result. no eta, so both directions still bogged down through there. drive times now really slow 55 minutes so about an hour from southbound 880 to 238 to 84. northbound delays, as well. looks like about 30 minutes still to go from decoto to 238, six miles per hour in some spots. use alternates like fremont boulevard, union city boulevard on mission boulevard to get around. south 280 we just watched tow crews take the vehicle out of the way. they have all lanes except for the right lane open so still some closures there but it is improving southbound 280. a vehicle hit a dump truck after rolling and

let's get a check of traffic with gianna. >> i finally have better news to report. chp canceled the traffic alert along eastbound 80 at cummings skyway. all lanes are opened and traffic is moving. all lanes were shut down overnight. it was a fatal accident so it took a while to clear it about three hours. good news through there. westbound still seeing brake lights. i'll show you on our maps you can see traffic slow westbound as you work your way across the carquinez bridge to san francisco across oakland through the bay bridge. just a heads up, there is an accident in the backup at maritime academy that's clearing. northbound 101 at capitol expressway in the south bay we have one lane blocked for an injury accident. delays back to at least hellyer at this point if not beyond that. slow along 101. another wreck northbound at 280 is cleared out of lanes but again you have a lot of yellow and red on our sensors so that means traffic is sluggish as you work your way northbound at least 14 minutes to go from 280/680 to 237. capitol expressway accident is it right before
