gibbs: thank you, madam speaker. this bill -- i really urge my colleagues to support this bill for several reasons. we need to make sure that we give our local communities and our states all the tools in that tool chest to fight this virus because we could have -- this could reach epidemic proportions this summer, and if we don't do that, you know, it's on us. one of the things we tried to do here on this bill, viruses, you know, they kind of run a course, you know, and they go through that. we went through it with ebola and other things. you've seen with the swine flue around other things. and -- swine flu and other things. and during this course we should do everything to try to mitigate the effects and the impact to the public's health and safety a and so one thing we put in this bill we put in a two-year sunset provision. september 30 of 2018, this provision, 897, expires, it sunsets. to really to attack the issue here while this disease runs its course and hopefully it will run its course and we mitigate it -- d
