now, for those of you who don't know what makes this interesting is that buffett, who sat on gillette's board for more than a decade, was there when they approved the purchase of duracell years ago. but telling me, quote, i'm a duracell guy, you know, he needs batteries because he's got this train set in his attic that needs a lot of batteries. they have what he always looks for, it's a mode of competitiveness -- meaning number one or number two in the industry, duracell's ranked number one, plus extremely healthy cash flow. but competitor energizer has been working to innovate on longer battery life spans. i asked buffett if he would eventually own both, he told me, no, i doubt anybody would let us add energizer. once again, this is an all-stock deal. but what's interesting is it's not buffett's berkshire hathaway stock. he's exchanging some of his 52 million shares of procter & gamble he owns and, hence, by doing that avoids a big capital gains tax deal by engineering the swap. once again, arguably one of the smartest investors of our time pulling off another one. >>> closing bell rin
