a couple accidents out there on our highways like a traffic collision. 80 westbound just east of gilman street that's out of berkeley. we also have a disabled vehicle. 5 e eastbound at this is a near elton street out in richmond. and we're also looking at another traffic collision. this is one oh, one southbound just in san rafale. so if these are cleared off the road, in enough time. they won't cause much of delay in this early hour. let's also head over to get a look at the san mateo bridge 8 across towards the peninsula. no major delays as you're driving near this morning and we'll leave you with a look at the golden gate bridge as you're heading into the city just about 20 minutes. we'll have more on that coming up next. but for now, let's get back to the news. now. the cdc says that nearly half of the country's eligible population is now fully vaccinated right here in california. it's more than 49%. and another 13% has had at least one shot the white house says that nationwide deaths and cases of serious illness are down dramatically. the numbers are all expected to keep going down
