so yeah, looking at gilroy to potentially hit the upper 30s later on this morning. it's that cool and we have a dry air mass overhead. so moisture tends to lock in any sort of temperature. that's why the water stays so cold out in the pacific. when we see temperatures right by the beach in the 80s from time the time. 52 degrees in san mateo. 50 degrees in sunnyvale, all about heat capacity. and today we've got a pretty good looking day shaping up. temperatures a touch warmer. high pressure is going to start to build in. it's this area of low pressure that's now racing into the eastern part of the u.s. that has produced gusty wind for us, the jet stream on top of us. at least for the next five to six hours. what that means is the breezy conditions will continue. now that wind is moving offshore as the area of low pressure moves further off to the east. so we're seeing wind speeds coming straight out of the east. at about 5 to 10 miles per hour. those will increase to about 15 miles per hour later on today. so not as blustery but still enough to keep the red flag goin
