let's start with northbound 101 in gilroy. you can see traffic does look good is your driving from the gilroy area into morgan hill that continues to move well up into san jose. there is a grass fire on northbound 280. i can show it to you. the fire department is on seen blocking the right lane. it is so light that even with that right lane taken away, 1 are 2 cars driving through. there is not a big jam. hopefully that will -- i do not see any smoke anymore so that's a good sign. there was some brush on the shoulder that was on fire. you can see traffic at the bay bridge toll plaza also looks good coming into san francisco. this is the early commute. not much going on which is nice. let's bring steve in. but first let's go ahead and show you the continuing developments on irvin court in gilroy. officers still on scene. now, about half hour ago, we watched as the officers went inside of the home. let's go ahead and show you the video that we have from a little earlier this morning and that we shot overnight as the incident unfolded. again, we did watch the officers go into the home. at this point in time, investigators now believe that they have all of the suspects in custody. they're going through this home to do their due diligence to make sure there isn't one more outstanding suspect. they believe that at least one of the suspects in this case had some tie to this home here on irvin court. here is what we learned about the investigation and how it started. officers were called to a nearby neighborhood for a call about suspicious people in the neighborhood. it's a neighborhood that has seen a number of auto burglaries in the recent past. and when they were on that call, they received another call about shots fired. and what they learned was that a homeowner in the area had

a little bit of cooling around san martin and gilroy as the winds pick up out of the south.e tri-valley and the east bay valley, issues with air quality and a spare the air day and the temperatures as warm as the mid-90s inland. around the peninsula, highs cooling and mid-70s around san mateo, along the coast, 60s in san francisco and like today, a high of 69 degrees. similar temperatures for your monday. and then the north bay you see highs in the upper 80s. maybe still close to 90 in napa. but as winds pick up out of the south we begin to see cooling into the north bay on tuesday. so hour-by-hour forecast tomorrow, similar to what we had today. bayside temperatures comfortable but the valleys seeing more 90s as opposed to mid-80s in the forecast for monday. now by tuesday, we begin to see the temperatures cool down as the sea breeze turns stronger, setting us up for the coolest days of the week. wednesday and thursday is a high that moves out to the west and the trough drops into the east and that will enhance the cooling effect and as we head toward memorial day weekend,

we are talking about the gilroy commute.bound 101 traffic does look okay if you are driving through gilroy. we are hoping it's going to be a quiet commute for the entire time coming into the area. there have been no major problems on two 280 in getting up to highway 17 earlier, a grass fire here and it was so light that it never did affect traffic. they even had a couple lanes blocked. it did not affect traffic. at the bay bridge, the same thing. take a good look at this. if you are watching for the next 10 minutes, you will see how this changes the it will start getting slow at 5:30 am when they turn those metering light son. right now you have an opportunity to get into san francisco without any major delays. steve has been telling us it's windy in many areas including the altamont pass and the bay area bridges. the careful out there. >>> that is correct. the altamont pass, 45 miles an hour. the system dropping in -- i think this will be the coolest inland temperatures we see for a long time. we are getting long in the too
