but a few lingering showers around gilroy for that 9:00 hour. we do have flood watches up until 4 a.m. tomorrow. we have flood warnings for the russian river at guerneville, where they are likely to see some minor flooding. uh- a line of shower activity. this is just coming in santa cruz county, santa clara county obviously watch out for downpours and flooding. all right. we do have a wind advisory until 11 p.m. tonight. those wind gusts still possible up to 70 miles an hour. so you could still see some downed trees and power lines 53 mile an hour winds right now at the oakland hills. this is a level three storm, so watch out for some areas of heavy rain, gusty winds and some chance of thunderstorms continuing for another hour or so. >> all right. thank you. sandy. let's take a snapshot of the current p-g-and-e's power outages. they are all over the bay area. look at this map. the orange squares, those are the largest outages. then you have the yellow diamonds and then followed by the green circles. but you can see a lot of areas are impacted. >

and we are also seeing that rain picking up from morgan hill to gilroy, and we just had so much in the north bay, we're at a surplus. even before this storm of 13in, we've already gotten our yearly rainfall. we've surpassed that. and that's the reason why we've had so many flooding issues in the north bay. but we are still running some deficits south of san francisco, as well as the east bay into the south bay. so we're watching out for that potential of some landslides as we get all of that rainfall absorbed in the soil in the north bay and some of the steep, steep areas that multiple days that we've had of this soaking rain causes the runoff. and then eventually that absorption layer just stops at the rock layer, and then everything on top can just slide down. so we're not only watching out for the possibility of some landslides, but also those rising creeks and rivers, and for santa rosa, where we've already had that big surplus of rain. the rain just continues into today. it may not be until tomorrow or later on this evening when we start to see the rain easing up, but still a chan

as we head through 10:00 tonight, we're just left with a few areas of spotty showers down towards gilroy, and then we're going to be on the drying side as we head through tomorrow morning. i just think we have to watch out for the chance here of maybe a little bit of patchy fog to start, but the flood concern will stay with us even into early tomorrow morning. and it's just because we've had so much rain in a short amount of time. so you still see some of these flood watches up. and that's because a lot of those creeks and streams are still running very high and fast. and you also may encounter some street flooding. so be careful out there. we've had the wind gusts, but along with the rain, the strongest winds are moving to the south as well. as you can see, these are live winds. current readings show ten to about 25 in the north bay. so getting better. but notice these bright colors here. santa cruz mountains and east bay. that's 20 to 50 mile per hour gusts. we'll still be under at least through the next hour to two hours. but as we roll into later on tonight, you can see how the winds

we've got a few heavier pockets, although the strongest right now is from morgan hill to gilroy. that will likely stay around for the next hour to hour and a half. by the time we get into 10:00 tonight, all of this right there moves off towards the south, and we'll just have some spotty rain left at 10 p.m. and then this all clears out of here for tomorrow. so not expecting any rainfall for the morning commute, but chance here. we might get into a little bit of patchy fog. but the thing that you still want to be cautious about is the chance of still some water on the roadways here, with some of those street drains that may remain clogged. so flood watches here up until 4 a.m. tomorrow. and also be careful around any creeks, streams or rivers. those are going to be running very high and fast. now the other thing we dealt with here was the wind. i really see that also tapering off through tonight. it's 15 to about 30mph at 11 p.m. and then by tomorrow we're not dealing with anything in terms of gusty conditions. we'll start it off here tomorrow with temperatures in the 30s and 40s.

not quite as cold for the south bay, but i think once you get around morgan hill and gilroy, we certainly could see some isolated mid 30s. so watch out here as we roll through tomorrow morning. we've got that heaviest jacket out. you're going to be good to go. and then as we head through the afternoon temperatures here in the 50s across the bay area, that will lead us to 59 in san jose. 55 martinez also 58 here in santa rosa. now i want to make sure we get in here. that chance of rainfall for next week. it's looking more and more like we'll get some significant rainfall as we head into the midweek forecast. we start to see this whole thing developing by next tuesday, and then it would be an atmospheric river. and right now it's aimed right towards southern california. so what we're watching is that placement of the atmospheric river. if this were to move closer to us, obviously we'd get in on some much heavier rainfall. but right now it's pinning southern california with the heaviest rain. nonetheless, though, we would also stay into heavy rainfall chances right into thursday of next week
