and we are also seeing that rain picking up from morgan hill to gilroy, and we just had so much in the north bay, we're at a surplus. even before this storm of 13in, we've already gotten our yearly rainfall. we've surpassed that. and that's the reason why we've had so many flooding issues in the north bay. but we are still running some deficits south of san francisco, as well as the east bay into the south bay. so we're watching out for that potential of some landslides as we get all of that rainfall absorbed in the soil in the north bay and some of the steep, steep areas that multiple days that we've had of this soaking rain causes the runoff. and then eventually that absorption layer just stops at the rock layer, and then everything on top can just slide down. so we're not only watching out for the possibility of some landslides, but also those rising creeks and rivers, and for santa rosa, where we've already had that big surplus of rain. the rain just continues into today. it may not be until tomorrow or later on this evening when we start to see the rain easing up, but still a chan

we've got a few heavier pockets, although the strongest right now is from morgan hill to gilroy. that will likely stay around for the next hour to hour and a half. by the time we get into 10:00 tonight, all of this right there moves off towards the south, and we'll just have some spotty rain left at 10 p.m. and then this all clears out of here for tomorrow. so not expecting any rainfall for the morning commute, but chance here. we might get into a little bit of patchy fog. but the thing that you still want to be cautious about is the chance of still some water on the roadways here, with some of those street drains that may remain clogged. so flood watches here up until 4 a.m. tomorrow. and also be careful around any creeks, streams or rivers. those are going to be running very high and fast. now the other thing we dealt with here was the wind. i really see that also tapering off through tonight. it's 15 to about 30mph at 11 p.m. and then by tomorrow we're not dealing with anything in terms of gusty conditions. we'll start it off here tomorrow with temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
