that means the gilroy garlic festival is here this year. it's back, better than ever. they used about 4800 pounds of garlic all for your favorites. we are talking garlic fries, pepper steak, scampi and even that garlic break. it's really tasty. this video shows it. this year things will be on a smaller scale and you will have to preorder your meals and do a drive through pick up at the gilroy presbyterian church. we have been following volunteers for a few days now prepping the good garlicky food in the gourmet alley. festival runs over two weekends, this weekend and next weekend. this is a long running festival, it's been going on about 41 years. these two years have been rough for the organizers because of obviously the mass shooting and then covid-19 forced them to stop. they are excited to have this going again. preorder your meals or else you won't get any. right now they're prepping. we've got crews getting things ready. kick off is this evening at 4:00 p.m. it goes from 4:00 to 7:00. everything you need to know about garlic festival is on our website at kpix.com.

thank you friday, the fires were rekindled for the gilroy garlic festival. we're back. we're excited. you know the thing we've been focused on is making this work festival association president tom kline says, planning for this year's signature event started last fall when the covid pandemic was still mandating safety measures. so the festival was moved from christmas hill park to the parking lot of the presbyterian church. any church really should. really be the community center of their their community. right? so what better way to have people come and use our facilities and enjoy it with us and be a part of what god has given us all the traditional staples of the garlic festival are here, but attendees must order online in advance, then drive through having it right here with an open almost an open window like that. they can see that the guys will be reacting to them talking so that we were trying to capture some of that. it feels wonderful. we've missed it the last couple years, so it's nice to have the smith at least the smell. the smell is wonderful. this festival

friday the fires were rekindled for the gilroy garlic festival. we're back. we're excited. the thing we've been focused on is making this work festival association president tom kline says planning for this year's signature event started last fall when the covid pandemic was still mandating safety measures. so the festival was moved from christmas hill park to the parking lot of the presbyterian church. any church really should really be the community center of their their community. right. so what better way to have people come and use our facilities and enjoy it with us and be a part of what god has given us all the traditional staples of the garlic festival are here, but attendees must order online in advance, then drive through having it right here with an open almost an open window like that. they can see that the guys will be reacting to them talking so that we were trying to capture some of that. it feels wonderful. we've missed it the last couple years, so it's nice to have. have the smell. at least the smell smells wonderful. this festival was cut short two years a
