there's a push to bring back the beloved gilroy garlic. festival. it came to an abrupt end five years ago. after a gunman fired into the crowd, killing three and wounding 17. others now many of the communities are hoping to bring back the annual event. local businesses have struggled without it, including restaurants and hotels. but bringing it back has been a bit of a challenge. shooting. shamsudin shooting. survivors have sued the city and the liability insurance for the festival increased from 6 to $10 million costing hundreds of thousands of dollars more. but last november adjudged judge did dismiss those lawsuits. so now the festival is negotiating with the city to bring bound the amount of insurance that they need. >>>>we have that that vision of seeing this happen again. and so that's what motivates us. and and it's going to happen. without a doubt. it's going to happen. maybe even next year, maybe maybe something small. it's really something really big. at least for the city. for the city of get ready. it's really important so they should do
