[applause] so how did it all start? it all started with the film called makers on pbs some years ago. the two filmmakers portrayed the women's movement in the 1970's, the effort to get the courts to catch up to changes in the way people were living, the effort to get legislation. these filmmakers, betsy west and judy cohn did a fantastic job and it was well-rounded. it included all, even clips of someone who is no longer in this world. gloria steinem, but it also portrayed the people who were anti-equal rights amendment. i admire the film and when the two makers came to me and said that they would like to do a film about me i said ok.
