you'll notice this blueline that's just to the south of philadelphia right now into glassboro and that's where we're getting that mixture of snow and rain and wilmington down through hammonton, mays landing areas to the south this has found in a heavy rain event. all the precipitation will continue to move through the east over the next couple hours. right now temperatures really tell the story. dover it's 35, wildwood it's 37 degrees. that's why it's raining there. philadelphia 33. allentown and reading 32 degrees and once the clouds clear out temperatures will be dropping down below freezing. so, even though you may not want to be shoveling in the final hours of winter you really want to clear your driveways, your sidewalks tonight of that heavy wet snow because things will be freezing over solid. so, this is what to expect this evening. the precipitation will be clearing the coast by 9 o'clock, temperatures dropping below freezing so standing slush will spike up and there will be some slick roads tonight. i'll talk about a brief warm upcoming up in the full accuweather 7-day forecast.

it's almost april. 23 in westchester. 22 in glassboro. and we've had three cold months in a row compared to the long-term average that we call normal. january, 2 degrees below. february, about 10 degrees below. now march, 4 degrees. below that average. so three cold months. now we have air cold enough for snow in western pennsylvania. lake-effect snows and some of the action may be coming over during the day tomorrow. we're drying out during the night tonight. temperatures down into the 20s in areas that clear out. there are some of those snow showers, flurries could be coming down during the day tomorrow in a couple spots. don't think it will be a big deal but if you see some snow at this time of the year that is getting kind of late. in the season for that. a lot of people are not happy about that. they tell me about it every day. mostly cloudy and chilly tonight, 34 for the low in philadelphia. 29, north and west. at least the wind dies down. the wind picks up tomorrow. 15 to 20 miles an hour making those temperatures feel even colder.
