glen? >> it's been raining all day at the shore from delaware beaches all the way up and as you can see, it's still there. we have an area of showers developing near dover headed in the general direction of wilmington and philadelphia. we have to keep our eye on that. it has been a washout at the shore. you can still know that the heaviest of the rain has moved ourt. there are thunderstorms. this is the area that we're watching well north and west. it's getting closer. there's allentown, and it's not far away, and it's starting to weaken. we do expect some showers to come into parts of pennsylvania, but it's also going to be weakening as it does come eastward. look at this, but 8:00 and 9:00 tonight, it is approaching philadelphia, but it's weakening, may rain a little bit at the phillies' game, but it looks like they get the game in, and the rain is eventually going to be ending at the shore before the night is over. tomorrow, it will be a better day. we'll see what the rest of the week ha

glen is here to break it down for us. glen? >> we have the ability to break down even the first alert, but certain parts of our area where the greatest threat is for different kinds of weather events. not just broad brush the whole ar area. in this case, south jersey, delaware, pa suburbs, and philadelphia are included. jersey shore is not included and you're not including central new jersey. 9:00 tonight to 7:00 tomorrow morning. take a look at this future weather. these storms are billing quickly. by 8:30 tonight, already coming into parts of the area, but not up to the lehigh valley. not so much in central jersey or at the shore, so concentrating on those areas likely to get hit the hardest overnight tonight, hour after hour after hour. 11:30 tonight, look at that area of rain coming through, and by tomorrow morning's rush, the worst of it may be over, but there's still some leftover flooding in parts of the area that we have this first alert for. there's really not much on the radar now until you go all the way down to wash

let's go to glen, and, glen, just a few hours left of the holiday weekend. how's it looking?for parts of the area, just fine. you get close to philadelphia or wilmington or trenton and surrounding areas, it's mostly dry tonight, but raining all day at the shore. there's a little bit of rain coming up towards northern delaware and philadelphia area, but that's light, and if there is any that comes in, it should be light. main area of rain, as you can see, is starting to move overshore. it's raining in atlantic city into northern delaware, but that is moving out. we have a line of strong showers and thunderstorms. it's still well west of the lehigh valley and berks county, but it is moving in that direction. we'll keep an eye on that. saturday, official heat wave, third day in a row of 90, yesterday, 87, and so far today, 79, and 88 degrees tomorrow. we jumped right back up, but that's temporary. it was warm already in the lehigh valley with the sunshine all day, and in parts of the philadelphia area, we have more sunshine than others. 77 degrees at the ancient right now to 79

glen "hurricane" schwartz with a look at the warm forecast, glen? >> we talked about it for over a week how it would warm up this week, and into the weekend, we talk about temperatures near 90, and it's in the 80s now. 83 in lehigh valley, a west wind brings in the warmer air, but this is a beautiful sea breeze setting up at the jersey shore. you can see those winds converging. you can see it in delaware too. it's 83, and further south, we have temperatures in the upper 70s and 80 degrees, lincoln and louis at 79 degrees, but nearby, at the beach, 67 with a little sea breeze coming in. we have temperatures going up to the 80s tomorrow, and 87 degrees, 90 thursday, friday, and hotter on saturday. as far as rain is concerned, most of the showers were offshore, but one or two developed just south of philadelphia. you see this. moving right down the atlantic city expressway. we'll follow that and changes coming in a few minutes. >>> all right. investigators try to figure out what sparked a fire in a montgomery county high school. we were over north high
