high school on monday and after the suspicious visit to the school officers went to his home in glen burnie. they found weapons and went into high alert in the wake of the mass shooting in newtown, connecticut. police found several weapons including pistols and one with a laser sight and another pistol with a silencer and magazines full of ammunition. police say beaumont legally bought and owned audiotape the weapon -- all the weapons that found. he attended the high school in 2002 but only for two months. he came back to the high school on monday and was trying to open several doors. he finally followed a school employee inside in a door near the loading dock. he didn't threaten anyone and didn't have any weapons on him. >> but his manner and demeanor just seemed odd. post-connecticut, we have got to recognize as an agency, as a nation, as a state that our school children -- we have the take these kind of precautionary thorough investigative steps to make sure that we do everything we can to keep them safe. >> reporter: now justin beaumont is charged with trespassing which is a misdemeanor
