. >> reporter: marcus, i'm in the willow glen neighborhood. folks already started doing some of the prep work they need to do, especially if you have any big trees here with loose branches, you need to make sure any of those are down so they don't come down on your house or on your car. the wind will be be strong during the storm. look for lawn furniture, some of the garbage cans, make sure those are batonned down so they don't get whipped around by the wind. you're also going to want to do some cleaning way of the leaves and the twigs and debris from your gutters and from storm drains anywhere around your house. the other thing is the rain. so if you're driving when the rain starts into the weekend you want to make sure you you are not driving through standing water. that is a huge problem and can be dangerous. if you have things to do around your house, you have a couple of hours or so until the afternoon, so get busy on all of that. the leaves and twigs and debris get it away from your house as well as any branches that might come down. lot
