nbc's sarah dalaf joins us from outside the stadium in glendale. people bought the plane tickets and hotel rooms but now are not going to get inside. >> reporter: that is correct, vicky. i want to address the weather here. it is so foggy. i feel like we skipped ahead a year and we are actually at the super bowl that is going to be held in your area. the stadium is right here behind me but you can't see it because of the thick blanket of fog. it is supposed to burn off. clear out by mid-morning. by the time kickoff rolls around, the skies are supposed to be clear. temperatures in the low 70s. they plan on opening that retractable roof for football fans. unfortunately, some people thought they were going to be inside the stadium are not going to be. they bought their tickets early from brokeers. the brokeers in reality didn't have the tickets at the time. the brokeers were counting on the ticket prices dropping and then they were going to snatch them up then and fill the orders. ticket prices never dropped. it is the most expensive super bowl in hist
