countries aren't actually doing so well in, for example, maintaining their gleneagles commitments. some countries like the u.k. are actually doing very well, while others, italy, france are slipping. umm, and i think that, uh, the u.s. has experienced a political shift just in the last, you know, recent couple years and the, the reality is that the bush administration focused a lot less, even though it focused a lot on development issues, tripling aid to africa, for instance, creating the president's emergency plan for aids relief and the millennium challenge corporation, focused a lot less on coordinating globally across a whole host of foreign policy issues. the obama administration actually approaches these issues differently. and i think you can see it already in commitments to food security, to global health, to talking about the millennium development goals as a matter of policy. so i think that there is a shift and the u.s. is actually doing pretty well, uh, relatively speaking, in terms of its commitment. >> and with 2015 just on the horizon, global leaders are really rethi
