have been lucky enough to talk with several grammy winners on this show, including shania twain, gloria estefan creating a grammy winning hit. ♪ man, i feel like a woman ♪ >> just the song with the words and your sound and the guitar hook, did you think to yourself, this is just going to be enormous? >> i try to get into the head of my personal fan self. what do i want to listen to? what would i want to dance around the house singing? >> right. >> when you are first writing the song, there's no beat, there's no music, there's no production. it's just about the story and the lyric. >> right. >> the hook lyric, man, i feel like a woman, was very, very satisfying as a statement. ♪ rhythm is going to get you ♪ >> is it true the original name of that song was "boogie man has got to get you"? >> absolutely. my drummer came to me with the idea of the hook. i co-wrote it with him. i have a small child. i am not singing the boogie man is going to get you. i kept thinking, what can we do that's not the boogie man? the rhythm. it's going to get you. wherever we went, whatever language they spoke, they wer
