abc seven news reporter gloria rodriguez met up with them at oakland international airport before thelight took off. the san francisco firefighters are ready for their next mission to help the people of maui after the devastating wildfires. >> one retired a nine active san francisco firefighters and one first responder paramedic from the bay area flew to hawaii from oakland international airport on tuesday morning. >> for kiro nacua, it's personal. he was born on maui and raised in hawaii. >> my grandparents were born and raised on lahaina. my dad and that side of the family. so all my hawaiian sides from maui. well, i'm very sensitive to it. i mean, being part hawaiian also. so i'm sensitive, sensitive to the cultural aspects of it. but with the san francisco fire department, i'm trained to be part of the critical incident stress team. so that skill set you can bring to the table, to the team will distribute supplies to the community at lahaina gateway, one of the only structures in town left standing after the fire. >> asian firefighters association of san francisco president stan l

gloria rodrÍguez is in the newsroom with more. gloria: the driver is facing multiple charges.the intersection where it happened as a trouble spot. some say they even fear for their safety. i drove by this memorial that is growing for the four-year-old girl struck and killed by a car in san francisco. people are leaving notes, flowers and more into locations at the intersection, including in a stroller. the police confirmed the girl was being pushed in a stroller by her parents who were visiting san francisco and crossing. the police have not released details on how the collision happened, but confirmed the driver stayed on the scene and identified her as a 71-year-old. she is facing multiple charges. >> due to the investigation, led by the traffic collision investigation unit who also arrived on scene, they determined probable and arrested the driver for three counts of not yielding to pedestrians and one count of vehicular manslaughter. >> the design right now should allow for pedestrians to have priority in the intersection, then cars waiting or yielding to pedestrians as th
