i'm gloria rodriguez here with meteorologist lisa origin. and lisa.ng about it just really heating up today. >> yeah but only inland. so if you're at the coast or around the bay, it could be quite pleasant or even cool at times. you can see the low clouds and fog there from the san mateo coast. the marine county coast, and it's a compressed marine layer. so it will be burning off mostly, but not right at our beaches. heat alerts allowing for that advisory in our inland valleys and the hills there, the highlighted area, the diablo range, livermore valley, interior mountains of the north bay, east santa clara hills could see well into the upper 90s to near 100. but look at all the fog from our exploratorium camera. upper 40s half moon bay 51, san francisco. it is 55 over in oakland, and boy, those cameras change quickly. so now you see nothing. 40s and 50s. and from vollmer peak you'll see how quickly the temperatures are climbing 80s by noontime inland, 70s around the bay and partly sunny at the coast near 100 inland. so take it easy out there, all rig

i'm gloria rodriguez here with meteorologist lisa argen and lisa. it was a hot one yesterday. is it going to be hot again today? >> you know, we have the cool down definitely for our inland valley. still going to see some 90s. but we saw temperatures more like 100 degrees in livermore. here's a look at live doppler seven. right now you see all the moisture in southern california. and we'll get some extra cloud cover from that. but not until tuesday. as for your sunday, what a gorgeous shot from mount tam sun coming up at 548. it's 55 in the city, 57 in oakland, 62 san jose. clear sky fog has yet to form. and from sutro, we're looking at temperatures in the upper 40s petaluma but low 60s in livermore and 70 by the delta. so the next couple of hours we're going to warm slower. this morning. we're warmer, five degrees warmer in livermore. and as we go through the 9:00 hour, 60 and 70s. but by about 12, 1:00, we're in the 70s and 80s for most of us away from the shoreline, fog stays at the coast and we'll be looking at near 80 in the san ramon valley, low 80s and we'll talk about
