an impressive lead for donald trump in georgia right now. let's go on to north carolina right now. 69% of the vote is in. look at how close it is. donald trump has a lead, but of only 689 votes. he just took the lead over hillary clinton in north carolina. now his lead has grown a little bit, as we're speaking. this leaves almost 3,000 votes over hillary clinton, 48.8% to 48.7%. 69% of the vote is now in north carolina. donald trump has a slight lead. in new hampshire, only 13% of the vote is in. hillary clinton has a small advantage right now of 4,500 over donald trump. four electoral votes in new hampshire. this has been a battleground state. in michigan, 11% of the vote is in. hillary clinton's lead is only 13,771. 48.7% to 46.2%. michigan has a lot of electoral votes, 16, to be specific. michigan, it's a close race in michigan right now. it's a key state. pennsylvania, only 5% of the vote is in. hillary clinton has an impressive lead of more than 106,000 votes over donald trump, 65% to 30%. 20 electoral votes are at stake in pennsylvania. donald

trump's debate prep after the first debate didn't go so well. and maybe more importantly, he has been on the plane and around as president-elect trump ended his campaign and was much more disciplined, obviously to great effect, considering the fact that he is now going to be the 45th president of the united states. so, for that reason, first and foremost, they've gotten to know each other quite well, but also, because reince priebus comes from the establishment of the republican party, he can be a bridge to that wing, particularly the republicans who run congress. he is very, very close with house speaker paul ryan. the two of them kind of grew up together in republican politics in wisconsin. so, he can help, you know, kind of lead the trump administration and coordinate with republican leaders on capitol hill, the legislative agenda, which is going to be so crucial for mr. trump, as it is for any president. >> so then, dana, help people understand the importance of a chief of staff, you know, the highest ranking employee within the white house,

you go to ohio, same thing, complete reversal. you had donald trumpf the white vote in ohio whereas barack obama managed to get 46% in 2008. and a majority in 2012. you go to white voters in pennsylvania, where you had 56% going for donald trump this time, up from 51% in '08. same thing in michigan. let's go to some of these other numbers. union verse nonunion. hillary clinton won the overall union vote, she won at 51% to 43%. but nonunion households went for donald trump 59% to 46%. one of the things i got wrong in this, i figured white working class voters, you could see they were going for trump. that was really obvious. what i think surprised a lot of the polling firms and a lot of us in media, was that white college educated voters went more for donald trump than was expected. how do you explain that? >> one of the things we don't see in the polling that got a lot of play, actually if you look at the demographics of the trump supporters, they weren't all angry white men. he was making real enroads among white college educated incomes. not lower c
