mean, i know it's very tough outside, especially here in the city, because you can't see the golden gate bridge, you can't see the bay bridge, you go down to the embarcadero and it's completely foggy. it's like pea soup, but hoping, hoping it's going to clear out by this afternoon >>>>is going to be right around the corner. but for now, many of us up in the north bay from the marin headlands all the way up into santa rosa, we are still under that dense fog advisory, and that's been the case all morning long, making it challenging to get to work and to school. but let's time this out real fast as we take a quick look at what's happening for us. widespread throughout the bay area. luckily, that dense fog advisory has now expired along the east bay along the peninsula, but it's still cool and it's still cloudy out there right now. and that fog still holding on tight to some of the bay bridges, for example, the bay bridge and the golden gate bridge, both included in that. now, throughout the next couple of hours, we'll watch that fog slowly become a little bit more patchy or a little bit more dissi

now, the focus of this storm system going to be mainly north of the golden gate bridge. see that cutoff line sales coming almost perpendicular to the coastline. and so again, this is kind of like the november set up, right where we had all that heavy rain in parts of the north bay are really a south bay, not a whole lot of rain into redwood city or san jose. that may be the way this plays out, too, is we're going to see rain really continue on and off throughout the weekend. tapered off a little bit on sunday to get everybody wet, though, as the main branch, that storm kind of rolls through as we get in toward the late monday into tuesday of next week. rainfall amount kind of break down like that to see the heaviest well to the north of the golden gate bridge. so, yeah, we're gonna get back in the rain but maybe not a lot for everybody. temperatures tomorrow 50's 60's. it'll be dry. the next few days should be dry, too. and then return to that rain. when you know, it's just about the end of the month here in january. but looks like february comes in a little bit wetter t

we've had so much rain specially northern california, north of the golden gate bridge. that's where the focus of all the heavier amounts of rain. you get to southern california. they're running a deficit there. but yeah, we're gonna get a little more rain overnight tonight and some of those storms, of course, having causing other issues. we've seen the santa cruz wharf collapse, at least part of it as we have some of those big waves moving along the coastline. you're looking toward half moon bay right now. nice evening out there. a lot of folks out there walking along the coastline and enjoy what was a very comfortable day. but those waves are building again. we've had these large storms that have been generating this wells in the middle of the pacific and well, they're going to get to it again. and you can see the rain on not all that far away. already moving to northern california now, but off the coastline. but once the storms start to develop over the open ocean waters, that's where we start to see all those wind just kind of whipping across the pacific. and all of
