mars and jupiter and golden gate park they will start to gather about 8:00 so that will be something cool to see. i did post the details on my facebook and twitter pages at kari hall weather so if you want more on that or if you're at home you'll be able to check it out with your own telescope. here's what we have going on. still have high pressure. that's been blocking all of the storms that have been moving to the north of here, so at times we'll see the storms moving across the pacific northwest. we'll see the winds picking up but still no rain and the rainfall deficits continue to grow as we look at how dry it's been. well, santa rosa, picked up another tenth of an inch of rain over the weekend so overall for a season total we're over 12 inches, but that's still 21 inches below normal. we can see huge rainfall deficits. really hard to get even a tenth of an inch in san jose, but we need nearly 9 inches of rain to catch up to normal. that's the reason why we're saying now is the time to conserve and even think about the summer when we'll be also not watergate our lawns and conserving even more. here's a look at the forecast. of course, still dry and it's going

golden gate bridge, still dark and early for us. we see a few cars on the road. you know what? i want to know what the weather is like outside. meteorologist kari hall has been tracking that for us this morning. kari, how are we looking this morning? >> hey, it's still dry and that's the reason why we're talking about those water restrictions. i wanted to show you some of our reservoir levels in the north bay. we're only at half of the capacity, and we're doing a lot worse in the south bay, only at about 36.2% of the capacity and so we're heading into those very dry months but the good thing is that we've been so dry lately but there's a little bit of hope in the forecast with a couple of storm systems that will be moving through by the end of the weekend. this won't make up for all of the rain we're missing but it's better than nothing. we'll talk about this and some temperatures that remain comfortable coming up. >>> mike, right now you have some breaking news? >> i have a traffic alert, the breaking news on the peninsula, kari. overall, green sensors dominate our maps and in fact, there's some red stretch that cleared but south coming down past s

golden gate park. great highway, we have been collaborating in a similar way. along great highway, hosting a series of district 4 mobility study town halls, including one that concluded recently on march 27th. staff have been collecting feedback and doing additional analysis on concept designs, including keeping it the way it is, turning it back to the way it was before and using the highways in different ways and different configurations, including different times of day. they're doing the initial analysis and evaluation and will be presenting that to a variety of stakeholders shortly and then again handing the study analysis and next steps off to the recreation and parks department who owns the great highway and sfmta who needs to address a whole lot of actual and potential negative impacts of the current configuration. currently the sfmta are working with their peers on a detailed scope of work to conduct an analysis for the entire west side road network. how do we make the whole west side work and acknowledge there are interesting bottlenecks in the west side, including golden gate park itself but also at the south end of the west si
