we've got river road reopened inside the beltway near goldsboro where it had been closed in the overnight early morning hours to remove a tree that did come down in last night's storm. river road at the beltway or the beltway at river road moving freely and no longer a detour to get into chevy chase and head into the district via river road insides the beltway. the federal holiday will help you out. east on 66 no early troubles to report in fact in either direction between the beltway and manassas, points west. eastbound as you make your way in past fair oaks, 123 light volume. no problems to report into falls church and beyond. 95 corridor likewise. again we've got the break of the long holiday weekend with no overnight road work unless it's some sort of an emergency repair and none of that reported. everything open for you as you make your way up to the 14th street bridge. remember the extra volume we are going to see downtown. a lot of motorcycles still in town and driving around town so keep your eye on your mirrors for them today and still so much activity with the parade later on do
