san francisco police just a few minutes ago reopened the intersection of bush and goth.g freely through the area. but the intersection has been shut down for a few hours because of the early-morning accident. we will take you to video. this happened around 5:45 this morning. the crash involved a couple of cars and an suv. i'm being told by one of the drivers involved in the crash this was caused by a car that ran through the red light here this morning. again, we have told you that five people were taken to the hospital this morning with critical injuries. now, the man who was driving an suv, a silver suv says he was waiting at a light. it turned green he and pulled out and that's when a dark- colored honda blew through the red light and clipped his car and ran into a silver sedan. that was pushed into a light pole, trapping all of the people inside. the firefighters had to use the jaws of life to rescue the people inside of the car. i talked this morning with the one man who walked away from this crash unhurt. >> i was coming southbound on goff street. the light had jus

this is a look at the goth golden gate bridge. no clouds in sight. the majority of the rain. we saw showers move in from the coast. not a lot of activity up there. still seeing a couple of little pocket offense showers near daley city, but not heavy moisture. if you stozoom out on the map, can see the majority of the rain moved inland and south. fresno is getting a lot of thunder and lightning. for the most part we are in the clear of the initial system. we did see hail early on, saw on and off rain earlier in the day. san francisco is at 52 degrees. san jose also in the 50s. within the next couple of hours you're going to notice not a lot of cloud cover. by 9:00 it's 48 degrees and into the late overnight hours it will remain in the 40s. fortunately, no more rain. judging by that building fire, we can expect to see more smoke covering the sky. san jose, similar conditions as well. clear skies. for the most part, we'll drop down into the 40s, which means early on in the morning, we have a chance of seeing patchy dense fog into the early afternoon as well. daytime highs for to
