el granada, the sun is out there. there's some areas on the fog where it's pulled off the coast. it will be a nice day. inland areas get a lot of these clouds. it looks like the systems, we hope they bring us rain. it's looking weaker and weaker, morning fog giving way to mixed sun and clouds. a lot of clouds, maybe some rain to the north but the question is will it drop far enough south, i think we'll get drizzle. hopefully some rain will make it into the north bay. one forecast model just came in and shows no rain at all for us. things might be changing here. 50s on the temperatures. very, very low 60s. a lot of 50s. it's very, very cold, continuing. these are the current temperatures at noon. well, noon to us. 2:00 their time. they are issuing all sorts of freezing rain advisories down to the deep south even into new orleans. it will make its way to new york, which is 39. i think i saw a 43 things are better. a couple of systems moving through. it will add to what looks like a wild week for most of the country. for you, the systems continue to drag across a lot of high clouds.

we had records in oakland, sfo, 68 el granada, half moon bay. it's amazingly cold.these are the current temperatures. chicago is 15 below. twitter has been great of sending pictures. we have warnings and watches in 34 states. the windchill also will be the big factor from the great lakes to the deep south and ohio valley. minnesota, 50, 55 below on their windshield. some of the rain is falling over the very heavy snow they had last week in boston. that caused us fog issues but the arctic front has -- you can see where it is, some of that rain is turning to snow on the back side, pennsylvania into west virginia. this is where the cold air is plunging in. 17 for tahoe. 20 in reno. i know it's still cold in other parts of the country, not that cold. weekend systems will move in which will allow temperatures for us to come down. they've been so far above, it would take sense we'll get near average, upper 50s, lower 60s. a lot of high clouds. hazy skies. a stronger system comes in thursday. but i don't think it will do anything here. it looks like a cooler week. 60s, low
