running spotted around a high school in granada hills. the mountain lion eventually scaled the fence and roamed around a neighborhood for awhile. wildlife officials cornered the big cat in a yard, hit it with a tranquilizer dart. took a few minutes for it to get woozy then it passed out. when it did crews picked up the big cat in a pickup truck and carted it out of the neighborhood. >> yes. back to where he belongs. >> yes. which is what they do. >>> right now we want to get a check on that microclimate forecast. meteorologist jeff rainieri is here. i think some people including that mountain lion are ready for the weekend. >> i know all of us here ready for that saturday and sunday to come our way. you can see on the sky camera network, peggy, jess, everyone at home this is a key indication we're under warming conditions. there is no fog at the immediate coastline from our daily city camera. that's because we have an offshore wind that's gradually building across the forecast. that's going to help us to start off tomorrow. mostly clear.
