this picture is one of my favorite pictures of my grandma and grandpa and they're looking down at myn tim when he was little in 1972. you can see the smile and the warmth that came from the both of them. so i would say i feel lucky to be part of this family, even if he had never done anything that that mentioned in the newspaper or on tv, just because of the kind of people of my grandma and grandpa were end my parents are. i feel very fortunate that i was able to have him here for 90 years. i had friends in elementary school did not have any of their grandparents at all. i was lucky to have grandparents well into my twenties, thirties, and now forties, losing my last one. we miss him, but i feel lucky to have had him around this long. we would go visit every year at christmas and he would come visit us and we would go out at least a couple other times during the year. so there's a lot of fond memories. i remember a lot from the 1980 senate race, because we travel around the whole state with the family in a ford van going to every campaign rallies and fairs and rodeos and things like
