and compromised grants campaign. we never see a letter from grant to julia. anyone who understands, it is really important to read letters to generals wives. we never see a letter to his wife saying oh by the way, this is what lincoln did to me today. you can't say that for the letters of george mcclellan. we can't say that for the letters of william t sherman. who clearly thought that his therapy was writing letters complaining about the world to members of his family. sometimes multiple letters to multiple members on the same day. sherman did so much writing, it's amazing he had any time left for fighting. and george meese, who would often get his wife upset with what was going on and then have to calm her down and subsequent letters. saying she took it too far. letters, after thoe those letters, after all, are confidential statements for someone blowing off steam. people say stuff in private for the sheet that they would never say in public and they just need to say it sometimes to get it out of their system before they move ahead. but people have read tho

a lot of those grants are 1823. we formally had a grant administrator position. this is a high level analytical position. we anticipate those skills would be appropriate for what we are looking for the function of this position. we talked about it last meeting with regards to minimum qualifications in the job description. if you look at the description we outline a brief description of the position and what we are looking for to be as well as anticipated duties and functions of the position. there is also listed minimum qualifications. get back to that a little bit as well as desired qualifications of the position. the minimum qualifications are attached. for all 1823s regardless of function those are minimum qualifications. that being said we worked with dhr to find the flexibility with regards to the position. we have abilities to amend the desired qualifications and experience portion of this application. we included language with regard to relevant grant experience. we can expand that. we can include the special conditions on the applicants where we can say,

(catherine) in the east bay... a suspicious fire in oakley has destroyed one business and damaged two others.. no one was injured - but a firefighter on the scene had a very close call. kron 4's sara stinson has the story. it was a difficult fire for contra costa county fire crews to put out at this tire shop on main street. not only is it an older building, but it's right next to the railroad tracks. i witnessed the scary moment when one firefighter just barely dodged a train passing by. you can hear the train's horn...and see the firefighter grabbing the fire hose just moments before the train passed by. battalion chief ross macumber says crews were near the tracks after they notified the railway company to close the tracks due to the fire. <"we still had active fire at the time, but luckily the crews were able to hear it coming. though it was a very close call, the train came through at a very high rate of speed.
