first time in the one hundred and 2 year history of the pga championing that will be played in the great city of san francisco this would not be possible - thank you (clapping) this certainly would not be possible without the great collaboration with the city and county of san francisco the pga tour and the pga of america and mayor ed lee and thanks to you and phil givens berg and tim this seems like another step in a lot of the things we've been able to accomplish working together in the past 20 months and look forward to a great future for the pga of america and iceland be remissed if i didn't say thank you to our chief officers (clapping) at the pga of america quite honestly we got this deal done fast and it was certainly not without they're great efforts but i think the thing that's important for everyone to understand the pga officers and the pga board of directors have been committed to trying to find a site for west coast pga champing for basically, the passing past year we couldn't be more proud of the fact it is going to take place at the harding knowing park. we know the friends the

we're proud that the treasure island will be for the city and beyond a great benefit. with our many partners claiming the treasure island authority and the 0 deprivation and the workforce development have come together it's because of this collaborative effort we're on schedule to make our target will construction date of summer of 2015. i thank you all especially eric and other for their leadership in getting the job done and done well, with sensitivity to the community. those west rams will provide access and improvements and act as a bridge across the bay. we also create jobs. i am proud that we're critiquing prevailing wage jobs with san francisco companies and retained with those investments. i want to recognize the golden gate bridge company and thank them for the 12 percent dbi contempt on this project. thank you all for being here. i'm happy

for this work for the sugar tax campaign because i really believe that san francisco is really a great city. and it's only going to be greater and strive to a better place if we make sure the young people and the adults and the senior citizens in the city are provided better resources. this from the institute and another group participated in doing the is survey for four different communities. we did one in the bayview, the heda aight, and we found out that 99.98 percent believe it's really easy to access soda. 95.96 percent believes also easy to get sports drinks. 93 percent believe that energy drinks are very easy to access. that's really overwhelming percent of not only young people but also senior citizens. really everyone believes they can access this. compared to 100 percent juice, 53 percent believe they can access which is not good because we want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to access fruits and vegetables and organic and 100 percent juice. so i'm really in support of this and i know that my committee is also in support and i want to say thank you for doing the gr
