first time in the one hundred and 2 year history of the pga championing that will be played in the great city of san francisco this would not be possible - thank you (clapping) this certainly would not be possible without the great collaboration with the city and county of san francisco the pga tour and the pga of america and mayor ed lee and thanks to you and phil givens berg and tim this seems like another step in a lot of the things we've been able to accomplish working together in the past 20 months and look forward to a great future for the pga of america and iceland be remissed if i didn't say thank you to our chief officers (clapping) at the pga of america quite honestly we got this deal done fast and it was certainly not without they're great efforts but i think the thing that's important for everyone to understand the pga officers and the pga board of directors have been committed to trying to find a site for west coast pga champing for basically, the passing past year we couldn't be more proud of the fact it is going to take place at the harding knowing park. we know the friends the

hosting great events because we're a great city and she's a great part of that and i want to thank her and gratitude. lastly i have some acknowledgments here. we have lots of folks in uniform, the orange, and the white. today i want to acknowledge our folks in white from street soccer -- san francisco streets soccer and street soccer usa. rob, can you join me -- just join me up at the podium. in addition to the mayor's ping pong tournament street soccer hosted the national cup here in san francisco. it's amazing and extraordinary organization and event and a story that needs to be told and we need to thank rob and san francisco street soccer for their incredible leadership. it's a national program -- i'm going to let rob talk about it a little bit but creates, helps people in vulnerable housing situations and communities develop life skills and job skills through sport and it's a big part of what we help facility at rec and park and we have lots of partners in this space but nobody as noble and as important as street soccer. all witnessed the excitement around the world cup this summer

doesn't have a harbor, surround bid mountains and has no coal or iron orr and yet a great industrial city grew here and now a great post industrial city continues to pull people. southern california and los angeles in particular did this through desire and engineering and institutions, went out and found the water, found the energy, publicized itself quite well, and continued to do that. so, southern california has been able not only to succeed in economic and cultural terms but then to kind of ruin its success with too much success, and it has thus far been able to work its way through the stresses and continue to function. i think we're well equipped to continue to do that. in terms of cleaning up the air, this is emouse amount of innovation going on an enormous amount of innovation in materials of efficiency and turning toward an electric economy and cleaning up energy sources and streams, and then, for example in the area of water supply, southern california is utterly vulnerable because it built itself based on pulling water in from all over the western united states, and those suppl
