great lakes are warm.is warmer than it should be and all the way back to north texas. this has the question going where has the snow been. this is where the snow has been. the red is up to 72 inches. northern new england has been having an epic winter with a lot of snow. many areas of the appalachians. even washington, d.c. in the blue has had a foot of snow. i-95 hasn't seen much at all. this is one of the least snowy est winters on record. we usually have 23 inches by now in boston. new york city since december 1st, new york city did have six inches of snow in november but since december typically a foot, hasn't happened. even in philadelphia not a lot of snow. 3.8 inches. only d.c. is ahead of pace and d.c. by the way has had more snow than new york city, philadelphia and boston combined this winter and that doesn't happen that often. as far as the temperatures, how hot and how warm will it be? hot is pushing it, but warm is going to be called for. temperature departure from normal is in the 60s around
