" i believe it is going to be foolhardy to think that transferring to this other system is going to be, really a for our children." governor branstad says managed care will save money and improve efficiency. but critics say it will reduce health care options for medicaid patients. the buchanan county health center is expanding. today, the center's board of trustees approved an 18 month project for new and renovated medical space. that includes an expansion to the wellness center and therapy department, a renovation of the surgical center, and a new medical office building. the project is expected to cost about 25 million dollars. coralville is moving forward

iowa's most accurate forecast. brad/wxwall: weather adlib: put script here in green well, we can finally say goodbye to our latest winter storm after about 4" in the metro and up to 12" in nw iowa. tonight will be quieter, but also colder as those strong nw winds finally subside to less than 10 mph. temperatures will start out in the 0s for northern iowa thursday morning, while we will be closer to 13 in the metro. we will have a mix of sun and clouds tomorrow, but it will be a pretty decent winter day with highs close to the average of 32. friday will bring another weather system through the snow showers or flurries through the day. overall, it doesn't look like it will be enough to cause any real problems on the roads. the weekend will a little milder with highs in the mid to upper 30s. saturday is looking like the better of the two days because sunday will windier with another chance for some light snow showers. most of these will favor the afternoon and evening hours and also will be more likely be in northern iowa. colder air will return next week as more arctic air plunges down tuesday into wednesday, but at least
