today we will be talking a lot about green infrastructure. this chart lays out the infrastructure against the levels of service and goals. for the most part, they scored very well. we did see higher rankings for greg infrastructure when we talked about compliance flexibility. once something is built, we can add pumps and do a lot of different things. once a piece of green infrastructure is built, it is sized based on certain storm events. we anticipate storms increasing in intensity, so we do have more flexibility with gray. on the other hand, greene offers us a unique opportunity to have public benefits. much of what we build is below the ground. much of it people do not even know is really there. green infrastructure can be on the surface, incorporate storms, screenings, and change neighborhoods, potentially. when we look at green infrastructure, we will also be considering the ancillary benefits. that is why the triple bottom line discussed earlier today is a big deal for us. as we progress through the project concept, we will be coming up

finance assets. -- green finance sf. >> i'm with the department of the environment. this authorizes the department of the environment to accept and expand a grant in the amount of $1 million from the california state energy commission. essentially to assist the development of san francisco's development finance program. the funds will be used as a service reserve fund which would make financing more attractive, hopefully with a lower interest- rate, and more widely available to property owners to have deep retrofit opportunities. the funds will cover payment delinquencies for investors. the last time i appeared before this committee, i indicated we were trying to advance the projects and i'm pleased to report a first project is now underway. it's a $1.4 million energy upgrade in a multi-tenant commercial building in san francisco which includes lighting retrofit and a new solar photovoltaic systems. i hope this project will lead to other additional products -- and other additional projects and this will make it more attractive for property owners. i'm happy to answer

i would look at the richer, darker blues or greens. since it is such a landmark, it is going to be so visible. it is important that it be the right shade or shades, but i think it is a great project. commissioner moore: i would simply say it is a remarkable project at a remarkable time, adaptive reuse to the kind of use that complements market octavia n. civic center. it is close to a strike of genius, i think. i am extremely happy to support all of the positive aspects which were eloquently summarized. i am not normally as supportive of things, because we are here to quickly take things under the microscope. in this case, all of the questions we are concerned about are answered. we did not prod the developer, but the developer delivered them. this creates units on site, which is what we would like in almost all projects. it delivers below the requirements for car spaces, based on the market octavia plan. there is bike parking, there is car share. there is consideration of environmental performance and win the baffling. the list goes o
