nbc affiliate in north carolina where right in the center of the state, about 60 miles south of greensborohere has been a workplace shooting. a gunman shot three people and killed them, injured another one and then killed himself. montgomery county sheriff deputies are on the scene. they say obviously that this is a workplace shooting at mcbride lumber company, just north of star. we'll keep you posted as we hear more from there. we have some other stories we want to get you up to date on right now. two of the former marines involved in that disturbing video showing them urinating on the bodies of three dead taliban militants have reportedly been interviewed by military officials. the soldiers were not detained following the interviews but as our pentagon correspondent reported, it looks like they want to throw the book at these guys, court-martial and possible criminal charges and then possible jail time. >>> the u.s. sent iran its strongest warning yet not to close the strait of hormuz. the u.s. wants to make it clear if iran tries to close the strait, the u.s. military will respond with

and even before greensboro and the woolworth lunch counter, the once made famous, many people were angryecause it was only when white people joined them that they got the mass media attention that they did but, in fact, there were many situations where a white person was murdered, or beaten or killed that if i started to understand the civil rights movement. and i recognize that in our movement we cannot ourselves do it all on our own, but nobody else can do this work for us. nobody else can write the repeal of the don't ask, don't tell in our hearts. some people can sign a piece of legislation. so people can make a declaration, but it is up to gay people to do that ourselves, and repeal and abolished the don't ask, don't tell and their homes, in our churches by simply violating the cultural don't ask, don't tell that we still have. and so we still need allies in the fight, and the more that you're able to educate people the better. and i think that our movement is so unique to all the other movements because it's exponentially grows in momentum, because the power of coming out is really
