into the foothills of north carolina, here is the radar picture as it sweeps around out of the greenville area. i-85 stretching in to charlotte right now. these were severe a half hour ago. so far they're not severe. we're looking at this thing to die down a touch. the thunderstorms are out there. look at the rain around philadelphia in to new york, showers at d.c. as well. that's a morning event for you in new york. i think philadelphia, d.c., you hold on to the rain probably through the mid to late afternoon hours and then down to the south of miami, onshore flow coming in. thunderstorms are out there. they stretch all the way down the keys into key west. it's going to be off and on. heavy downpours early. northern parts of oklahoma, parts of missouri, too. zero in to the wichita radar and you have one batch of thundershowers go by yesterday. another one still going on this morning and still one back to the west. let me show you some video from yesterday afternoon looking at the doppler radar, estimates from yesterday. five inches plus around the wichita area. the rain continues to fall
