to tell us more about that abc2 news's corrine redmond is here with reaction. >> reporter: when the president visits a city he's usually greeted by handshakes, pleasantries, not this time. president obama had an encounter with the arizona governor brewer while visiting the state. the president is in the middle of a three-day tour through the swing states to talk about the economy. obama went to arizona to visit the intel facility in chandler to reiterate his message about job creation and manufacturing from tuesday's state of the union address. he stepped off air force one, he and brewer, a republican, were seen exchanging words behind a limo in the president's motorcade. brewer says the president took offense with how he was portrayed in her book.
